Every ounce of this was predictable. I expected better, but there was zero reason to; it ended the way it should have. It was a Batman movie, whereas the previous film was most definitely not about Batman. You pretty much know how the twists are going to go within an hour, and you shouldn’t expect it to do anything other than what it does. It wraps up nicely, appropriately, and is a very satisfying ending, but there is almost no gravitas (it is most definitely a Summer Movie) and is extremely obvious, but I liked how it ended. It was right. Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon Levitt are the highlights of the movie.
