Apparently, people are livid about the idea of this happening. Besides the people who have played the Doctor recently, I can’t imagine anyone being better than Depp for a big screen version. However, the whole thing just doesn’t seem like it will ever happen. And it’s probably better that way.
Though, for the record, I am NOT against this idea at all.

The answer to this question should be a Runaways or a Young Avengers show. I think both of those shows would work great with the Smallville demographic and since it is not really the Avengers (Captain America, Thor, etc) than I think those two options would be perfect. What’s everyone else think?

WatchThe trailer for Warren Ellis’s RED. Here are some notes from him with regards to the adaptation. Looks like fun and I think it’s quite odd that this is the one work of his I haven’t read and it’s the first thing of his getting the feature treatment. (I frankly think OCEAN would make for one helluva movie). Good thing I have until October to read it.
